The project is a careful restoration of a two storey house in the area of Kiafa, Hydra. The house, known under the name Lazaraki House, and is one of the oldest houses of the neighbourhood, recorded in a few books about the island’s architecture. It might have been a corner shop as up until the middle of the 20th century there used to be several food shops in the area.

The building will accommodate two independent residences, based on its present entrances at the different streets. All original elements of the house will be preserved and repaired, while any additional interventions will be simple and respectful to the house’s character.
